Skills learned from the prerequisite
class, Video Foundations, will be put to good use in the
Video Production class. In addition to their own projects,
students will work on production requests from Mount Si
High School, the school district and possibly even the
Snoqualmie Valley business community. Assignments
will include both videotaping events and making original
productions using editing software, music, narration, etc.
Students ill have the opportunity to produce Wildcat TV
and independent short films.

This course is designed for students who are interested in video production. Learn the basics of using a video
camcorder, digital editing, lighting, audio and producing video projects. Students will produce a variety of video projects
and compile them on a final DVD.

In Web Foundations you will learn how to use XHTML and CSS (basic computer
programming) to create and design web pages. You will create and post online a wide variety of web pages
individually and in small groups. Your culminating project will be to create a web site for a local business so
start looking for a good client right away!

Students will learn the tools and skills necessary to create digitally animated objects utilizing Adobe Flash. Students will receive instruction in different animation techniques. As a culminating project, students will produce an animation for a client.

Students will be offered the opportunity
to extend and expand their skills and experiences
